Hey everyone!

I've got a problem with my Mazdaspeed 3, and it's a 2008 GT model. The sound I'm hearing is a really unusual sound, like a weird thump, In the rear trunk/bumper/suspension. It sounds like the trunk is not closed and it's jumping, but it's not, and is properly secured. My bumper feels loose, but I really doubt it's that, and I'm going to have it checked soon. It might be my suspension, as it only occurs over rough holes/railroad/roads. My jack and my spare tire are completely tightened down, and I even removed my stupid "MPS" tool holder around the spare tire.

I'm really concerned, and I'm wondering if anyone can help me, or possibly help me to properly diagnose the issue to tell the Mazda dealer on Wednesday!

Have your local dealer check the rear swaybar links sometimes the nuts that hold them on will come loose. Just have them double nut them they'll be fine.

Took the car to the dealership yesterday at 4:00 PM, and the technician said it was the rear swaybar.

Your help came slightly too late, but I do thank you for your interest, and your help.
