I didn't want to leave you hanging, Dave, and thanks for signing up!! We accept members that are non-Mazda owners too. We are just a forgiving bunch that way. But to answer your question... I can't answer your question. I have no idea. Perhaps if you took it to Wal-Mart, or some other "box" store that offers automotive parts, and went through the A/F's for Mazdas that you could identify it by size/shape? I know it might take some time, research often does, but it's possible? Oh one other thing: It looks like it would be for an older, perhaps carburetted car, rather than an FI car. Look to the old GLC's or perhaps an early RX (rotory) model. Come to think of it, it looks a lot like the filter a friend's father had on his 1970 something ('73?) RX-3 wagon!!

Ok - Thanks Richard - I'll do some more digging. I looked at the different RX models, but couldn't find any oval ones ; all round ones...... Anyway - thanks for your reply Cheers, Dave
