After my last car was written off I've found myself in the market for another car, preferably something more fuel efficient than the cutlass I'm leaving behind. The forerunner in this search seems to be a lightly used standard '00 protege, now my question is this: Would I be able to squeeze on my 18" lowprofile Konig Hotswaps or am I crazy for even considering this? Being from Winnipeg I've still got another 2 months of ice and snow and yuck before worrying about it, but my collecting cobwebs in my garage isn't doing them the justice they deserve.. PS: Sorry in advance if this is posted in the wrong place

i know a few people with 18's on their protege. it all depends on the offset and width of the wheel. a 40-45 mm offset at 7-7.5 inches wide would be fine for your car. you would still have to take it slow into driveways. i actually know people with hotswaps on their's so yeah, that would fit.
