Update:.   I installed a new coil pak just incase, no luck still won't turn on.   I have read some threads about the immobilizer.  I have the immobilzer box but a wire harness leading to the key cylinder is dangling.  I suspect this wire plug would be for the coil that goes around the key cylinder, which I don't have.  I'm confused, why would I have the immobilzer box but not the coil.  My key fits the discription for the immobilizer option. Please help.  This is my personnel vehicle and it's hard getting rides to work.

Well, I took my car to the Mazda dealer and it now runs again.  Yes another $500.00 dollars down the tube.   I will not bother telling you all what fixed it since nobody cared to responde to my thread.  Actually I wish the moderator would lookup my thread history.  You will find that nobody has ever responded to any of my threads.  I guess I ask stupid questions!  or there must be some kind of insiders click here.  Well I don't care because I'm gonna trade in this piece of sh&t Ford MPV and buy a good old Chevy V8 SUV.  Thanks for nothing everyone!!!!!

I'd be interested to know what they fixed and what kind of mileage is on your MPV.

This is a fairly big forum, and I'm not sure how many MPV owners are on here regularly.  For the most part there are 3, 6, and Millenia people on here, but depending on how they search the threads, they may not see your post.

Since you asked, New IAC and intake cleaning (too much carbon buildup).  As far as the P1602 issue, it must of been there from before. I feel the immobizer signal has been bypassed setting of the code.  I don't know but it runs great now.  113000 miles.
