On this side of the border , reg is at its lowest 87 cents per litre and reaches 98 cents at its highest lately . When we had the crisis the prices had skyrocketed to 1.48 a liter , fearing the 2.00 !!! Now that we're back down in the prices the phsycological effect makes us happy to be where we're at , but we should remember that before ; the lowest prices we see now were absolutely the highest & unacceptable . I remember not so long ago going to Plattsburgh New York fueling for 1.29 a gallon ! They have us all by the balls and what not !
