my 1991 mx6 engine is cutting out at stops and is not accelerating properly on the start...once it shifts it runs fine. The car will hold a good idle in park and neutral.I recently changed the spark plugs and wires(one at a time so they didn't get mixed up)...that fixed the problem i had before and now 2months later is is doing this.....The engine light comes on somtimes but not always...it sometimes comes on when going 35-40 mph.
Does anyone have a clue for me
Thank you,

Also I tried changing the throttle position sensor which did seem to make any difference.

turned out that the duct/hose that goes from the air filter system into the engine had a crack in it which was causing all the problems.

Now car runs good and shifts fine but will not go faster than 60 mph........any suggestions?

Bob
