Just took the car on a back road - 2/9/2008 7:30:34 PM    2.0Mazda08 Posts: 451 Joined: 2/4/2008 Status: offline does every1's mazda does this now since it isn't new any more or did i mess something up.  When i shift it feels like there is something in the middle of the gear box, the stick doesn't move smoothly as it did before it only moves smooth when the car isnt moving, you can say the stick sticks when i shift ...what happened here.  _____________________________ 2008 2.0L Mazda 3 M/T 2006 2.5 Altima A/T Post #: 1

RE: Just took the car on a back road - 2/10/2008 10:35:17 PM    Lupae3s Posts: 991 Joined: 12/13/2004 Status: offline i auto-x often and im happy with the feel of my shifter.  my shifter is notchy, but gear transitions are predictable and simple to accomplish.  when engaging the clutch to change gears, the shifter seems to know what gear to be in next.
