Yup!  The tint looksd good, Siz.  What brand/kind did you end up getting?
You shouldn't have any problems w/the po-po for the 30%... I wouldn't think?

yeah, unless you live here you have no idea what HOTT really is. I like the black color on this car and the other color was blue but that dealer would not bargain with the price ( til i left and bought this one )

Putting tint around the entire car keeps her so much cooler as well.

FLA = no inspections so exhaust mods= ok tint = ok tv screens = ok

I don't anticipate problems with 30%, even if it's 5% over legal here.  The brand/type is 3M "Color-Stable", lifetime warranty on fading or turning purple.  It was the best tint the shop had.

Well, good job Siz.
May you and your new tint have a long and happy relationship together.

j/k

I finally got my tint 15% all around and 20% in the rear view.... I want to see at night and still be able to recognize what car is behind me just incase (po-po). Looks pretty nice. I'll post some pics up soon.....only thing that is missing is  rims...trying to find a place that bore rims out but no luck.

^ If you don't minde me asking, why does mazda refuse to inspect your car?

mazda wont inspect my car because of the size of my tires.  215/50/17.

dont our mazdas come with a 95% tint stock from the factory??  so any tint you install afterwards admits 5% less light than you actually get installed?  example:  15% tint installed on the 95% factory tint = 10% tint.

Yup.  I believe you're right about that, Lupae.  The factory tint, however light and ineffective by itself, does add to any auxiliary (aftermarket) tint added to it.

well my car didn't come with tint once so ever windows were crystal clear...could see the clean tan interior and everything.....even 15% looks like 20 since in FL the sun makes you wonder if its 20 or even 35 depending on the day.

Oh I think if you looked (put a piece of white paper behind a window,) that you would see a light factory tint. It's not much, but it's there.  No modern car comes through w/o ANY tinting. It used to be a $$$ option, now it's taken for granted.
Now the '57 Chevy I had when I was 16... they were clear, no tint windows!!

Well maybe mine had some kind of factory tint, but I sure as hell can't see it, as mine were crystal clear (in appearance) when I bought it.

Yeah, I need some rims, bad.
