I'm sure we've all had experiences with crappy gas stations, I figured we should have a thread to share experiences.

The reason I bring this up is that I stopped at a crappy Mobil tonight on my way home. I paid $40 to fill my tank, but they didn't tell me that the pump I was at was out of 87. Naturally, I asked the guy pumping gas for lazy customers to tell the guy inside to give me a credit on the next pump over. He refused, and tried to shove the 93 pump into my car. I didn't stand for that - I wouldn't even spend time arguing. I told him that I wasn't paying $3.62 instead of $3.25, and that I just wanted credit at the next pump over. Those idiots rudely told me to take me money and car elsewhere.

I wound up stopping at the Citgo up the road...I usually don't buy their gas (because of Hugo Chavez), but I was strapped for gas...and there were no other stations on the way back. Anyway, share your run-ins with morons or terrible service.

A couple of years ago filled up the work truck at a local Exxon with Diesel Fuel and didn't make it out of the parking lot. We had to fight them tooth and nail to get the repair money out of them but Ford did charge us a little over $1500.

One station checked my wife's oil and , just to make a sale, put in a litre when it didn't need it. I was able to get the excess oil out before it caused any problems but NO ONE checks under the hood on our vehicles any more.
