That's basically what happened, SST. And as I'd said, I wasn't even trying to race him at first. He kinda' caught me off-guard when he tried to come up next to me. I was just doing my usual thing when I'm first at a stop light. 'Course when I heard his engine hi-revving behind me, I had to try. I'm sure his 'Stang was an auto too. I try not to have too many illusions about how fast my car is, or isn't. I know I'm out classed by many others on the road. I just try to enjoy it for what it is.

our cars are fun to drive period!...cant hit a turn going 60 in a stang neither can u go 80 on a merge without feeling that you are loosing control or about to, or strugling to keep control.

I agree!! And have driven many under-powered cars in my day simply because they handled better and were much more fun to drive than the American Muscle cars were. I would like a bit more power from my 3 though, say another 20-30hp would do it, but for the average buyer I'm sure it's enough.

50hp will satisfy me to make it 200hp and i won't complain. If i get piggy back and try to do many mods that can be done without putting turbo i think i can achieve that BUT maybe im wrong.

So far, I've heard nothing but bad news about 3's and piggy backs. Something about the "closed-loop" system/software that relearns and will override the new fuel map after only a hundred miles or so. You'd be resetting the ECU every couple of days. That SUCKS!!!

i was wondering if i get a greddy speed cut...which gets rid of the governer for those of you who don't know, will this work for it, it states its for nissan and toyota but i am not sure, would i need a BCC instead (Greddy Boost Cut Controller) which allows to cut the governer on cars that cut the fuel.

If that's all it does, why waste your $$$? The engine redlines @ 6500. The rev limiter cuts in @ 72-7300. Your best power is in the 50-5200 range. What would be the point of running the engine past 7300? You'd only blow the damned thing up, and the engine (stock) is already out of breath by then.
