RE: Why??? - 1/27/2008 5:47:58 AM    virgin1 Posts: 5209 Joined: 3/15/2007 Status: offline Ah, careful with that air ratchet, my friend.  Those captured nuts and the little clip they are attached to separate easily.  I know.  They are only press fit together.  When you remove the splash pan, I would also suggest anti-seizing those bolts before reassembly.  I had several freeze together (rust) and that when trying to remove them w/a 1/4" hand ratchet broke the "bond" between the nut and clip. PITA!!! _____________________________ "There is no tool you can buy that will replace experience." - Josh Mills, C.K.DeLuxe (in reply to Siber Express) Post #: 7
