Lately, I have been thinking about getting new rims for my 07 rx8. I've tried contacting the dealership where i bought the car but i haven't gotten any responses. I was just wondering if i get new rims put on my car (same size as the wheel i have now; 18), would it affect the monitoring system in anyway?? Thanks

As long as the new rims are compatible, which most are, you can do it. The TPMS is only a small electronic device on the end of the valve stem inside the wheel, and can be moved easily from one wheel to another.
