Was washing my RX8 and had put the wipers in the raised position to clean the screen. After cleaning the screen I decided to check under the bonnet and went to raise it and forgot about the wipers. hence the back edge of the bonnet scraped up the base of the wipers causing the paint to scrape off the edge. I now have two white marks either side. My RX8 is velocity red metallic and was wondering if it is possible for the dealer to touch this up without having to re-spray the whole bonnet? Any comments gratefully received

Should just be a little touch-up. You can have it done however you like, with touch-up (but you may see little flaws), have the back edge redone, or have the hood redone. With a newer car like this they should be able to do the back edge of the hood without having to do the whole thing, because color matching is much easier when you're dealing with new (not sun-faded) paint.
