I have bought a 92 pickup which has a intermitent problem. It will shut down to a idle as you drive and it requires you to shut the truck off and wait a bit and then works fine again. This truck had a head replacement and I have just done a ring job to it and it was smoking bad and using alot of oil. Could this be the 02 sensor or is the ECM bad? Or anything else I might look into before I send my computer to be rebuilt? Any sugestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I have sent my ecm for repairs and have gotten it back with a lifetime warranty on it. It has cured my motor problems. So if your Maxda truck won,t start by times goes to a idle while driving or hard to start it might be your ECM. I sent mine to www.avproecm.com and had it sent back to me the day they received it rebuilt. Excellant service you even get a lifetime warranty receipt for the work!

Also, you might want to check out the fuel injectors. Faulty ones along with crappy made computers can cause you to switch to American made automobiles.
