Hello all.  I just registered since I like the amount of substance this forum provides.  I am/was a Chevy guy, but after 20+ years of driving a '79 with a 350 (actually one of 3), it finally gave up the ghost (trans), and I decided not to fix it.  So...fast forward...the next thing I know I own a '07 Mazda3 s 5 door.  It is a world of difference.  There are a lot of things I am still not used to.  For example:  nothing to fix, front wheel drive, great handling, BETTER MPG, everything works, warranty, comfort....I could go on.  I am a bit stir crazy, since I have a garage full of tools, and I am used to fixing 99% of problems myself.  There is next to nothing I can or need to fix on the Mazda. Weird! I must admit though, that after only 2 months of driving it, I love it.  I feel like I got lucky, since I didn't even shop around for other makes, and I know nothing about Mazdas.  I saw it, drove it, and bought it.  I hope to learn from this forum, and maybe even contribute something in the future.
