I fitted Michelin Primacy tyres to my MTM (Mazda Tyre Muncher) after the fronts on my Diesel Sport became illegal after 6.5k miles (despite having the re-alignment carried out at 3.5k miles - but thats another story)...

The car "feels" much nicer on the road but i think the tyres are slightly noisier than the Dunlops.

Dunlop SP Sport Tires

I also went with this Dunlop Tire for my '06 Mazda 5. I had to replace the OEM tires at 15000 miles.
I shopped locally here in southern New Hampshire and the web, including Tirerack.com and several others. This was in July 2007 and where was not much in the way of customer feedback.
I have been very pleased with these tires. They are much quieter than the factory tires, and proved themselves in the record snowfall in our area this winter. Not snow tires - but they think they are!

PS. They were cheaper locally than Tire Rack!!
