HAVE 90 B2200 WITH REPEAT HEAD GASKET FAILURES. IS THERE SUPPOSED TO BE SOME SORT OF ALIGNMENT PIN OR DOWEL TO POSITION THE HEAD ON THE BLOCK? OUR UNIT DOES NOT HAVE ANY.

their should be dowel pins to position the block but i'm not sure if that is what is causing the problem.

There are pins to use when lining this up and also have you checked to make sure the head isn't warped or isn't planed right?
