Hello, I have a problem with my MX6. I had the car for around 3 months now. Quite recently, the engine would overheat. It would leak coolant and when I checked it, it didn't have much. I put some in and the next day when I drove it, it got too hot and started to smoke as soon as I stopped it. I managed to make it home and after it cooled down, I checked for wetness to see if I could find the problem. There was a tear in the radiator hose. It was were those metal rings were that is used to make sure the hose doesnt slip off. My dad and I went to autozone and got a radiator hose. We replaced it along with those metal rings. The MX6 still tends to get hot sometimes and my question is that if it's something else. When I'm in traffic or idling, the needle on the temp gauge goes to around halfways then fluctuates(sp?). Is there another problem? I don't know much about engines and hoping if someone can help me fix it. Thanks.
