I own a 2005 MPV and since I've had it, I've noticed that water collects in both tracks of the rear doors. This water sloshes around as I'm driving and especially as I slow to stop. This is especially bad during the winter months when the roads are slushy and it is too cold for the water to evaporate. The track looks completely rusty and when I lean over to buckle my children into their carseats I end up with rusty water spots on my knees. I'm wondering if this is a common problem and if anyone has any suggestions on what to do about this. I can't imagine everyone else tolerates this irritating feature.

I had the same problem. I was informed by the dealer that there are drains in those tracks. My drain was clogged and they cleared if for free. They also stated that ,occassionally, just clean the tracks to avoid the problem.
