I'm doing this research for a friend of mine. He's been really into my toyota project, and is wanting to start a project of his own and found a good deal on a Mazda B2600 4x4 from a friend. I don't know too much about it yet though unfortunately.

What I was wondering is
A) What transmissions came in these both manual and auto?
B) What transfercase came in these trucks, is it drivers side or passengers side drop. What gear ratio's are in the transfer case?
C) What rear axle is in the truck? What gear ratio's are available.
D) Are there any other transmissions that will bolt up besides the stock one?

Essentially what we are going to do is chop the IFS off the front and do a solid axle swap. I just want to know what kind of gearing I can get in the drive line to determine what size tires it will push.

Sorry I can't provide you with a year for the truck, I'll get on that ASAP.
