I have had my mx6 for about 3 months now.  A few weeks ago the pedal started to squeak.  Then just about 3 or 4 days ago the pedal would stick when it was fully pressed.  I had to start pulling it back up with my foot, then it would work just fine.  I then sprayed grease up onto the return spring.  Yesterday the pedal stuck but was a lot harder to pull back.  When ever I put it in gear (with the clutch pushed in) the clutch catches and kills the car within 2 seconds..but the clutch is still pushed down.  When i am driving..after i shift and let go of the clutch, and pull it back out with my foot..the pedal starts to sink back to the floor.  once the pedal is back to the floor it still acts as if the clutch is not pushed down.  I have checked the master cylinder but there is no leaking anywhere.  Where should i look and what should i test?  should i actually pull the master cylinder and inspect it?  thanks
