love car has great power sounds great fuel mileage is awesome but was going to houston raceway park got into it with a gt going about 50 mph downshifted to 2nd rpms tagged near 78000 took gt but afterwards got a nasty noise kinda of like a clanking growling noise it sounds stronger about where the timing chain is but can't think of anything that would be affected in that area would like to know if it could be a lifter because it sounds stronger on the side closest to the passenger cabin but the other side has that same sound also when car is first started the noise isnt heard but once it idles it is heard noise speeds up and gets louder with rpms any help would be greatly appreciated dont have the money to take to mechanic have minimum mechanic skill thanks
