1994 Mazda 929 - 11/14/2005 6:48:16 PM    sierrawolfe   Posts: 7 Joined: 9/16/2005 Status: offline 1994 Mazda 929 shows codes 2, 3, and 16 2- no Ne 2 signal 3- no G signal 16- EGR position sensor Here's the problem (the real one). This vehicle has a brand new distributor, crank angle sensor, and engine computer. The wires that go from the crank angle sensor and distributor get all the way to the computer (have continuity all the way there). Still, code 2 and 3. I'm pretty sure I know what the 16 is from and will deal with that on my own. The 2 and 3, however, are driving me up the walls. I have checked out the commonalities these items have (on a wiring diagram) and they seem to have a ground in common. I tested the ground wire at the dist and CAS- yup, they ground out fine.
