17 months ago, we got a 2004 3 Series for my wife to commute to work. We are down to 1K for the factory warranty.
I had it in the shop last week for a warranty software upgrade to address a rough shift from 1 to 2. Things are better, but now there is no shift from 1 to 2 but a shift in 2 that is still not smooth when the car is cold.
While there, I asked if there were any more campaigns and they said no. But before this last 1,000 is gone on the factory warranty, what can I ask the dealer to do to make sure I am protected as best possible? I already have an extended warranty, but obviously it does not match the original.
