Hello everyone,
I need to know what causes the cylinders to misfire in wet conditions?  I own a 99 millenia S, 165k kilometers. It runs fine in dry conditions, but if I dont drive her for 1 day while its wet out, the next day she stutters like "Rainman"(the movie) and I get a cylinder 3 misfire code...(ouch, ya I know, cyl 3 in the back row!!)  What can I do to save her speech??....and my wallet? Thanx in advanx.

Kenin buddy ol pal..if ur reading, hook me up. btw, Thanx 4 the last reply...

the coil might be dying.  you can get some good deals on ebay.  i just bought a brand new one for 5 bucks.  it was only 1, but a great deal.  i have gotten a full set used for 20 bucks.  i install them on the front bank, which is really easy to get to, and run them for a couple of weeks.  the rear bank is not that bad, just a lot of stuff has to be removed.  165k is a lot of miles for the coils.   if you dont change it now, you will fubar the rear exh pre cat.  THAT one is a pain to get at.
