akmikek -> Another Blue Smoke question (11/17/2007 8:28:06 AM)
|
We have a 1995 Millenia "s" with 65k miles on it and it is smoking blue for the first 10 Seconds of startup. We took it to a mechanic and they did compression test and said it was fine. They did a top engine clean ($350.00) and said that should fix it. The next day it still smoked on startup. I have read that the supercharger could be leaking or the valves need replacing. Wouldn't the compression test rule out the valves?I assumed valves would last a little longer than 65k miles. How do i check the supercharger? I am somewhat mechanically inclined but i do not want to take the car apart and ruin anything. Could it be something simple i could replace or check? Thanks for any help.
