Intake - 11/14/2007 8:43:53 AM    06mazda3_2.0   Posts: 12 Joined: 10/31/2007 Status: offline Is it a different model intake for the 2.3 engine than the 2.0... I have a K&N typhoon intake for my 2.0 but was wondering if i could use the same intake for a 2.3? Post #: 1

RE: Intake - 11/14/2007 4:33:17 PM    virgin1 Posts: 5207 Joined: 3/15/2007 Status: online   Since the bore on both engines is the same and only the stroke on the 2.3 is longer, I don't see why any manufacturer would list different #'s for the 2 engines.  The flow velocity should be (roughly) the same only a longer time period for the 2.3 than the 2.0 w/the shorter stroke.  Plus I'm sure the science on these is not rocket-science exact.
