I got my 93 MX6 on the road for the first time since I bought it a mouth ago. Anyway the first thing I wonted to see was how fast it could go. So I went on the highway at 3 AM & hit 125 MPH before I had to slow down becouce of the cops. But I just wonted to know how fast any of you guys went in yours?

well i got a 94 mx6 and i tookj it out about 6 days ago on the highway also and it didnt take to long but i only got to 113 and it shut off

idk it just stops it kinda just stalls for a split second how can i make it go a little faster but not spend money???

Well 1st of all your really gonna have to know your care pretty much in & out. 2end you just have to keep it in good shape. Give it a tune up when needed, oil change, ect.... I mean we both have cares 13 & 14 years old. So if the last owner didint really take care of the car then your gonna have to come out of your pocket a little. But if he did take care of it then you dont really have to make that many changes. Also your clutch may be worn out, & you might need a new one. Whitch will probbly run you about $150. But all & all jus take care of it & it will take care of you. Becouse its a really good car & wont give you that many problems.

It doesn't matter how old your car is man.... Maybe you just need to learn about cars..... I have an 84 Turbo 300zx and my car does an easy 167 miles an hour :-D

im not a fuckuin dmb ass i know what a governor is but im say stuff besides that i know shit about cars im just more fimaliar with hondas than mazdas and where u live at mr.mazda boy

Damn everyone just calm down, I just made this post to see how fast & how much everyone liked thier Mx6. Anyway 2 Mazdaboy I know alot about cars & it all goes back to what i said. Your 84 Turbo 300zx has to be in really good shape, & U and who ever owned the car b4 you took really good care of it. All madness aside DAMN!!!! 167mph!!!

true about maintinance.

When i first got the 6 I could do 135 and it was smooth and stable. Kinda scarry how easy it was.

Now I have 4 bad struts missmatched tires and rims and some other issues that make me very reluctant to go much over 90. Which is my standard cruising speed lol.
