Different Instrument Panels??????

Why are there 2 diffent instrument panels for the Mazda 3? I'm trying to see which car has which panel, it doesn't make any sense. The pictures are posted below. Tne only difference I can think of is the manual vs the automatic. But if thats true, I wonder why Mazda didn't just make one uniform panel for both transmissions...the  one on top definately looks cooler. Let me know wassup

not completely sure on this but i believe its like the lower model GT and lower then that has the second one (which i assume you have)  and im thinking the highest end GT is the only one to have that with the automatic climate control and leather and such. this would be my guess but im pretty sure i am right on this

The first pic shows a trim line with the automatic climate control system. The second is a lower trim level without the automatic climate control system.

What they said.  The silver faced one is a GT model with ACC.  The black faced on is the regular 3.

your wrong haha. my car has the 2nd one. and mine is a 2008. its the upper end one has that first one, the base GT and lower has the second one
