4385, including this one. And most are not post-whoring posts either.
Hey, I"m a busy boy and take modding here very seriously. I like this site and want to keep it up and going if possible. There"s a lot of little things to do here.
I just hope we are able to get that software update soon. Mazdas247.com (msprotege.com) is waiting for the same upgrade as we are but they have newer SF than we do to begin with.  We need it more than they do, imo.

HELP!!!! I''m not mechanically minded and have a Mazda MX6. Its had two previous owners and was looked after extremely well. Although its been running great until the other day, the hold light is flashing every second and I have to pump it a couple of times when starting after that it runs well. Any suggestions before I put it in on Friday

Hi Kazel,
Welcome, and sorry to hear you are having trouble.
First you need to explain a couple of things:
1) What year is your car?
2) Is it a 4cyl or a V6?
3) Does it have a 5-sp?
4) What is the hold light?
5) What is it that you have to pump and when?

Second, this is a chat thread, for BS and misc ramblings.
You might want to start a new thread in the General Tech section http://www.mazdaforum.com/forumid_9/tt.htm, or the MX6 section http://www.mazdaforum.com/forumid_29/tt.htm, but not both.
Double and cross posting is not allowed here, or on any forum I am familiar with.

That said, if you answer my questions, I will try to answer yours.

You might need to have the trans checked, if it is the OD Button I know on Fords when it flashes it is basically the Check engine light of the transmission

I took my driving test in my 5sp mx6 v6, careful not to stall on the 3 point turn... (not that I would do something like that ) I think the lady was so impressed that I took it in manual she gave me extra credit points! Passed with flying colors, except for forgetting my turn signals when leaving the course  GL to you mang.
