Haha, maybe I do have an old soul. I do tend to be a bit cynical.

And yeah, there really isn''t a horde of Malibus out there...but still, in the future I''d like to get a set of AM wheels, probably at the same time I get new tires.

Yeah, but that''s a good thing.  At least he''ll be a thinker.
And me thinks you need some new friends.  Wasn''t it another "friend" that scratched your paint (or something else equally stupid) very shortly after you had gotten the car?
When the clutch in my old Civic gave up, the clutch would not engage and I couldn''t get it out of gear.  Is that what happened?
Just before I changed it, my car stuck in 2nd and I drifted through a stop light that had JUST turned red... but it was right in front of a local cop who proceeded to give me my first ticket.   How could the SOB resist!?

As far as getting hit in an ''04 is concerned, don''t assume that. I got backed into about a month ago in the parking lot of my store.  Damage to the RR door and "dog-leg" of the quarter panel. Her insurance is assuming responsibility, But in all fairness, there was a tall SUV parked next to her.  She couldn''t see me and I couldn''t see her either.  ''Just one of those things.

his clutched is well f*cked for lack of a better term. like all the other day we had to push the car to jump start it cuz his battery kept dying. and in all fairness i did hit his van. well when he had it. and of course a cops gonna pull you over in a civic. those cars are the worst heat scores of any car on the road! and us hould hear the damn clutch its horrible! as if i had an 04 compared to a new one i wouldnt be as mad. its a used car compared to a brand new car which i put all my blood and sweat (not to mention money gas, insurance *gulp*, car payments as well as new brakes fixing it and yadayada) with an 04 it wouldnt be as big an issue. but i love it and i dont plan on selling it. and what a surprise richard. a female hit you. females i swear to god scare me. ive almost been hit by 5 of them

You want to talk about scary women drivers, just watch my sister drive...it''s a good thing she''ll be in England ''til August, her car needs work.

I took it for a drive yesterday and noticed a few things...the frnot tires are practically bald, the brakes are shot, and the car is way out of alignment (it drifts to the left pretty badly when I let go of the wheel). Not to mention the bodywork that will be done.

I swear, that car is lucky I''m around...its driver is a violent and neglectful jackrabbit.
