It used to be called free-base cocaine, in case you didn't know. No, I was never into crack or free-base though I tried cocaine several times back in the day. It wasn't my thing. For me, it was a waste of money in the pursuit of getting stoned. BUT, I had bought something else of a smokable nature, also back in the day, when I hung around Manhattan... Washington Square Park to be exact. I loved hanging out there at night, but only if we brought our own. The street quality stuff had been stepped on so many times it was hardly recognizable and it wouldn't have gotten a newbie high. (I was hardly a noob by then.) But there was also much more high quality stuff there too. You just had to know where and who.

OK, been thinkin' about this for a while now and finally came up w/a solution... well actually a while ago, but finally tried it. Any of you find your leg getting sore from pressing it against the hard plastic console, especially during hard left-hand corners? Well, I've read many that complained about it and it's not one of my favorite things bout my 3 either, so.... Yup!! It's a gel filled wrist-mouse pad. It follows the contours of the console pretty well and is right where my RS outer leg finds itself when cornering hard. I wish I had taken a pic or two before I installed it, but basically I cleaned both surfaces thoroughly w/70% alcohol and allowed them to dry completely. Using 1" wide 3M Scotch emblem/trim tape, I attached it to the back of the the pad covering it completely (3 strips.) So that the gray color of the tape would not be so obvious when installed, I trimmed it back just a bit, approx 1/16" around the top and front side and after careful placement, attached it to the console, pulling one piece of backing material off at a time (that orange/red throw-away stuff) and sticking it down w/pressure. I drove it to and from work today and not only does my leg not feel sore, but it the pad actually helps to hold me in my seat better.
