Hi All I drive a 95 mazda protege 1.8L, 5 speed. And lately it's been overheating but only when the car is idling. When i take off it seems to cool down. I figured it would be the fan but it's working fine. It's now starting to overheat a little even when i'm driving. It seems to be getting worse. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks In Advance

First, double check the fan connections. Then, make sure it is working all the time. These have a habit of working sometimes, but then not others. Best to check it when it starts to run hot. Then, check your levels, hoses, etc. Next step would be to check the radiator for flow through, but if it was blocked I would expect it would do it all the time. Check your exhaust, if you have white smoke, it could be a head gasket. White film in the oil also tells youit's head gasket time.
