Hello,

All four of my actuators have gone bust. I don't want to pay for $320 for labor, so I would like to know how to remove the door paneling on all four locks, and what the procedure is on replacing the actuator. Is it hard? Does it require a pro to do this?

If some one can provide me with picture, or knows where I can get schematics, then that would be great.

Last question, after I replace all four actuators, will they work w/ my keyless entry system? It is the keyless system that came with the car, OEM.

Thanks, Sean.

It is very hard to believe 4 actuators went out at once. At least i have never heard of such a thing happening. The door lock switch can go bad or the key cylinder switch can too but 4 actuators at once is hard to believe. Did a shop tell you that?

All 4 did not go out at the same time. They went out at different times, and Mazda tested it and said all for doors are getting full power and ground, it's just the actuators that have gone bust.

Well i guess China got the bid on those then. Any actuator should work with the remote as they are just slaves and only need 12 volts which comes from elsewhere.
