FYI - on the Autozone pending code read suggestion......here in Chicago, getting something like that is a no-go. They WILL (along with some other chains here) offer a free read of codes if you have a check engine light already on. AZ will check some components (like IGM) but only after you have pulled the component and brought it into the store. If you want a diagnostic readout of the PCM with actual sensor information to compare numbers with specifications to look for components on the edge of falling out of range, a shop will have to do it for $$. Yeah, this is my town....where you can now purchase a parking meter transponder and pay to park electronically....ain't progress great?
