FS: protege Garrett turbo kit by turbo specialties - 9/2/2007 1:59:43 PM    redmp5wgn   Posts: 13 Joined: 6/20/2007 Status: offline hello everyone, up for sale is my used turbo kit. ive had this for about 4 months now which 2 of those months was installed in the car. this is coming out of my 02 protege5.  the kit is still like new, hardly used, maybe put 700 miles on it. unfortunately, i must sale it for a few reasons. i live in san diego, and since it is not street legal, with my luck, i got pulled over and had to put my car back to stock and see a state referee and paid a fine, and second, i need some money to pay off that fine. this kit is made by turbo specialties and retails for $2899 brand new from www.turbo-kits.com. i am selling everything as a whole, so you get a complete kit that bolts on into your car. no need to get extra parts, you will get everything you need to install it. you can check out the kit http://turbo-kits.com/protege_turbo_kits.html or at http://turbospecialties-race.com/ INCLUDED IN KIT: - Garrett turbo and manifold pre-assembled - Down pipe and gasket - Polished charge piping - High flow intercooler - Stainless steel braided oil line and fittings - Stainless steel braided water lines for turbo cooling - Rising rate fuel pressure regulator - Blow-off valve - Map unit (black box) - Heat shield - Air intake (connects to stock air box) - Oil return hose and oil pan fitting - All hardware, pressure lines, hoses, clamps, and couplers included and installation CD like i said is is a bolt on but i still recommend bringing this to a mechanic to have this installed unless you have experience. i will also include almost $400 worth of extras for free, i dont have need for them anymore: - autometer 2 gauge pod holder $30 - autometer cobalt series boost gauge $200 - autometer cobalt series air/fuel gauge $70 - oil pan already set up for oil return line (no need to drill your oil pan anymore) $70 - turbo badge from protegegarage.com $20 i am asking for $1800 obo for everything with the extras and shipping included or i live in san diego for any local pick ups. if anyone is interested or have any questions or would like more pictures, contact me or PM me.
