thats a very good idea, i like to just use the hydraulic jack method. it may be a little more work but those are the tools i got to work with. those ramps are very tempting to get though. you can never have enough equipment in a man's garage.

Please pick up a set of jackstands.

Do you realize that by supporting your car only on a jack to do the brakes that you are putting you life in the hands of a valve that maybe costs $0.10 and is made in China? You can pick up a set of decent jackstands for $20-30.

At a bare minimum, place one of your tires under the car laying on it;s side so that if the jack does fail, you won't get crushed under the car.
