Since the HU doesn't have preamp outs you'll need a LOC (line output converter) to run from your speaker wires to the audio input on the amp. Then wire it up for power and you should be set.

Didn't you just go through this with someone else, icspots? Try Crutchfield, iirc.

Warranty of the speakers, Gracie??? I would think any warranty on your HU might be void, should something go wrong, but speakers? They're OEM junk anyway. Who cares? Tell you what, CAREFULLY install your new system. Be as stealthy and careful not to cut any wires, or disturb the original set up as you can be. Now let's say that you've done that but he HU blows up in a month. Remove the subs, wiring and amp, then take it to the dealer scratching your head.

I have a further question on this topic- I used a line-out converter on my 97 Mazda MPV All-Sport and still have factory speakers. When I turn volume up too loud it cuts all speakers out- are the factory speakers blown, and if so, does that have an affect on the subs being run by the factory speakers?
