I never thought getting to much oil would cause it. It gets so hot the exhaust manifold and the turbo housing glows. I run 18 psi on high boost and 15psi on low boost. The other thing is that it keeps blowing the hose off that goes into the intercooler. Not sure why that is happening.

Do you let the car idle for awhile every time before you turn the car off? If you don't, that's what it cooking your turbo. The oil doesn't circulate with the car off, and the heat within the turbo doesn't have anywhere to go. I'd suggest a programmable turbo timer which will force your car to idle for a pre-determined period of time each time you key it off. Not sure what the best period of time to idle is, I've seen anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes recommended. I would think longer is better. 15-18 psi is a fair bit of boost...Is your turbo rated to those boost pressures?

Ya, I always let it idle for at least 2-3 mins until the turbo isn't glowing red hot. I even go back about 5-10 mins later and fire it up for 30sec to a min because I was told the oil can coderize in the line with it being that hot and that can block oil flow. Not sure what the turbo psi rating is. But after we rebuit the motor we turned it down from 19 1/2 to 18 on high and 16 1/2 to 15 because we thought it would prolong the life of the turbo and the motor, but it doesn't seem to be helping.
