My tribute does not come with fog lights. I would like to install one set of fog lights but needed to cut holes because the cover can't be popped out.

Does anyone have the picture of the actual fog lights mounted on the truck?. I need to see how they were mounted.

Are these OE or aftermarket? Here is a an external shot of OE foglights. OE lights should mount right to the backside of the bumper will preinstalled mounting holes.

The first link looks exactly like an OE fog light. Second link does not as connector looks different and should not have that bracket piece on it. Price is also good as OE fogs sell for a little over $100 each. I think though that before ordering we need to determine if there is some place on the backside of the bumper skin to even mount the lights up to. Couple of things a leading me to believe that there is not. Fog lights are not offered on Tribute for accessory. Also seeing that OE part number for the front bumper is different for having foglights or not so there may not be anything behind the fog light mounting area that you can attach the light too. That would not be good to find out after you have already purchased. Have only had 3 Tribs in this morning and they all had foglights so have not been able to check for you to see if non-equipped have mounting brackets or wiring. You might take a look behind that area and see if there are four raised area's to screw the foglight into. I will keep my eye out here for one that is not equipped and let you know as soon as I do.

Have you looked for a tribute not equipped with fog lights yet? Thanks. I already cut the holes. If there is no way for me to mount to the fog light on. I probably need to find a way to seal the hole.

I also have another question. If I purchase a new bumper with fog lights equipped or new bumper with precut holes with 4 raised areas. Will that fit into my current truck's?

Have been keeping an eye out but so far all of the Tribs that have seen coming in for the new anitlock brake recall have had foglights. An 01-04 bumper with fog lights preinstalled should fit just fine. A new bumper however is around $450 and parts guy says they come not painted. A good condition used one would be cheapest option probably. Still need to find out if the wiring is all there also or if you would have to run your own too. I have an 03 DX V6 and want to add fog lights to it. It looks like there are four holes already in the back of the bumper that the lights mount to after you cut out the bumper. The fuses and relays are there and the wiring for the switch is attached to the back of the blank in the dash.

I have not found where the wires are that attach to the lights but I am guessing there are somewhere up in the bumper. Does anyone know where they are?

That is very good news that the mountings and wiring is there Voda2000. Have been waiting to get one in without foglights for over a week and damned if every single one is equipped. Thanks for that great input. Since everything else is there then would only make sense that the wiring to the lights would be there as well. Is probably tucked up in the fenderwell and taped to the harness or so I am hoping.

That's weird, my Tribute's bumper does not have the 4 holes in the back of the bumper for me to mount the fog lights on.
