I'll double check about the mounts for the fog light in the next few days.  I was just looking lying on my back under the truck.  I'll try and get it up on something and have a proper look.

I checked last night and there are the four mounting holes on raised plastic numbs around the fog light hole for mounting them.

Yes, I can second Voda2000''s confirmation that the wiring is already installed for the front fog or driving lamps.  My 2003 UK model 2.0L GXi comes without the lights fitted.  The ribbed dummy covers in the front spoiler are held in place by 4 plastic barbed catches that pop-out backwards, access is gained by opening the front lower edge of the plastic wheel arch trim.  The two wires for each are taped up inside and are fitted with the connectors for the OEM lamps.  Likewise the switch location on the dash also has the OEM connector fitted, when you pop out the blank cover.  According to my workshop manual, all I will need to do is re-establish a 20A fuse at the currently un-used location no.13 in the passenger footwell fuse box, this should energise the necessary circuit.  OEM fog lamps are very expensive so I have opted for some aftermarket Ring Microline Driving Lamps, at 115mm diameter they should just fit?  Again OEM Front Fog light switches are hard to come by, but looking on eBay I have found Ford Maverick/Puma/Fiesta etc switchgear that is interchangable with stock Mazda parts.  You just need to remove your Rear Fog switch and make a reasonable comparison.

When my parts arrive, I will be posting an update on how this installation went.
