wow if I could only find a good exhaust for my little 323.

On getting a new muffiler does any one know if you have to cut the old on off and weld the new on or does it just have a clamp?

if youre looking for a good exhaust system for your 323 just take your car down to a local muffler shop and tell them what you need...custom exhausts in my opinion are so much better than factory exhaust kits.

Oh really? How much would you think that would set me back? I think the most I would want for now is a cat back. I don't think it would be that hard because my car is so small.

I would just want something that would make it sound better. What would you suggest?

Thats what I already said! Highly recommended. But a little more costly.

Hi. I have a Borla Rock-It that i've been trying to get rid of for a long time. It is part of Borla's 'Boomer Series'. This muffler is brand new, has never been used, and it looks great!

Part Number: 40058
Inlet Diameter: 2.5 "
Oulet Diameter / Shape: 4.5 " / Round
Case Size: 14 " x 6.75 " x 6.75 "

BORLA Boomers are full-blown, high-tech, dyno and race-proven mufflers for the street or track. These eye-popping, fully polished mufflers utilize BORLA's patented race-winning technology. They boost horsepower 7% - 10% while adding head-turning sound. Available in a variety of universal-fit styles, BORLA Boomers are made of aircraft-quality T-304 stainless steel and include a Million Mile Warranty.

I bought the muffler directly from Borla for $225.00. I am willing to let it go for $200.00. PM me if you are interested.

I listened to all those on others' cars, but decided to go with TANABE SMR Exhaust that are guaranteed to have the same or better performance and under 85db since I don't want my car sounding like all the honda civic lawnmowers around town.
Tanabe puts out a nice low rumble that still leaves no question to what's in the car! I'll post pics as soon as i can!
Here is what it looks like from the rear!

First how loud is it? Second the Apex exhaust for my car would run me at $700, and for my Magnaflow on which im thinking on getting would cost about $365 (ironic) but that includes installation cost and a 1year warrenty.
