Man, it looks like a pain just to replace the stock filter with a K&N drop in. I took the little airduct off that goes to the battery box. Why is that there? Battery get to hot? I thought the car had a ram-air system at first. LOL! Then I removed the four airbox top clamps to find out the top still doesn't move much. It looks the the MAF clamps and IAT sensor also have to be loosened and removed. Anything else?

Wait until you try to remove all that stuff.  That's got to be the most convulted air path ever.  You should be able to remove the air box lid enough to replace the filter just be careful with that MAF sensor.

Well. lucky for me I have no plans on removing the stock intake. I've put a K&N drop in filter in the stock air box but that's as much as I'm going to do. I've seen pics of the whole intake and I can't believe it's size. My Dodge Ram with the Hemi engine stock intake is half the size for an engine over twice as big.
