Can anyone tell me if there are any rumours out there about changes being made to the 2008 Model Year of the Mazda 5?  I may just be looking in the wrong places, but I can't find anything out on this.

I plan on buying a 5 in late August, but want to find out about the 2008 model first.  Thanks!

YES theres going to be a facelift to the mazda5 . I was told this by the dealer as with all the problems with tyre wear on my mazda5  (05plate) I was talking to the dealer about getting rid of mine cos its caused me so many headaches. He told me to hang on for a bit as in 2008 the mazda 5 will be having a facelift. My response to this was" so will there be no issues with tyres on the 08 model ?" to behonest I will never buy another new car again I will go for a model that has been tried and tested for a little while longer.
As for the mazda 5 I feel I have bought a lemon and us mazda 5 owners are the guinepigs whom are footing the bill for them , as they dont have answers to the problems were facing with tyre issues? It seems to me they TRY will anything to sort it and if it doesnt work fob them off!

Hi. Newbie and wannabe 5 owner here.

I'm looking at December to get a new 5, so a 2008 model would be ideal. I've see the spyshots (link below) and the updated spec list (aircon vents in rear seat, front passenger armrest, etc), but when will the UK see this model? I presume a 2008 model would be available just before 2008?

Thanks, MPLEP.

I would sell your Mazda 5 before the facelift model comes out otherwise it will drop heavily in value.

I saw on another forum that the updated 2008 5 is available in Japan now.

Lots of pics and info at http://www.mazdaforum.com/m_44177/tm.htm

When for the UK though? I again asked Mazda UK, this time they said the dealer would have to give me that info ?!?
