Picked up an 85 RX7 this guy had sitting in his garage for 2 years collecting dust cause he couldn't get the upper starter bolt off and he'd banged it with a chisel till there wasn't much left you could call a head so I dremeled it off and got a new starter on it.  I had to get a new bolt at the hardware store cause Mazda doesn't carry my bolt anymore.  It failed the smog test and the mech says the cats go out on them a lot.  Now the guy I bought it from tells me he had to get the carb adjusted everytime he had to smog it.  There's a fuse that runs the clock and non-stock radio that burns out when I try to put a new fuse in even with the radio out so got a short somewhere.  On the bright side it looks nice and runs like a race horse with a full head of steam, and I love driving it.  When that 2 stage 4 barrel carb kicks in it sits up and barks like a dog and that spells fun.  It needs some love and attention and it will be a good fun ride again.  Anyone having an old RX7 out there I hope to pick your brains for tips if I can.
