Hey, I don't really have a Mazda yet, but I am planning on buying a 94 Protege with 93k miles for $1,000.  I haven't seen it yet, but owner said it is in excellent condition.  I am not looking to modify it but to drive it as a economy daily driver since my other car gets 12-15mpg.  My question is what how many mpg do these get?  What are some common problem?  What should I look for?  and how reliable are these?

Never mind car now sold.  It was a really good deal but couldn't get it on time.  My other is a 97 Rodeo 3.2L 4x4.

uh, next time dont thread hijack, just start a new thread, but first to a quick search.. that topic has been discussed many times...

but to answer your question, you cant remove the top speed limiter... unless you get standalone ECU.. but that will cost ya
