CF can be cool.  Someone on eBay has been selling CF covers for the 3 series and I was considering it.  Then I started looking around and saw a white MPV w/factory black mirrors.  I could imagine what they would look like on my car from that and didn't like it .  So, I decided to save the $100 and keep my factory painted mirrors.
I wouldn't do a CF hood on my 3 HB either, but a fellow club member has one on his P5 (red) and it looks GREAT!!!  The lines are perfect for that car, and maybe a 3 sedan too... not for the 3 HB, imo.
I think it largely depends on the vehicle and color of that vehicle whether or not CF mirrors (or hood for that matter) would be a good look.

Thanks, but I've tried that... capital letters, small letters, using just img and /img... nothing seems to work here as it does elsewhere?  In fact I had it that way until just this AM when I turned it into the link you see now.  url & /url work, just not img.
The pic in question is a 500 x 100,  52.5kb which seems to be pretty standard.  It's the same sig I've been using on the Mazda3 forums... and they're pretty strict about sig size there.

I don't believe it!!  I have tried this over and over and it wouldn't work.  I'm on 4 other Mazda forums and have had no problem.
I STILL don't know what the problem was, but there it is!!
Thanks for the help, dr4gOn3!!

And sorry for the MAJOR thread jack!!
