I've found a solution to the Sport Ipod problem.

Basically the MP3 6 Cd changer will not accept an Ipod interface, the bizzare solution is to replace the modular head unit with a single CD version from a lower spec model. After looking for ages on breakers sites it seems there aren't any, so I got to wondering what happens when a base model radio is upgraded at the dealer - it turns out the dealer thows the old unit away !

So solution is to visit your local salesman and ask him to save you a single cd head unit (mine came free rather than paying £562 for a replacemnt unit...), then buy the dension Ice link for the mazda 6 and it works.

So now I have a single head CD, Radio, Cassette and Ipod -everything you ever wanted !
