So, I go to the gas station to get my morning Java. It's a quick run in and run out. I walk out and my car is GONE! I freak, look over to my left and it's accross the lot parked up against a Ford Explorer! From what the woman tells me, my car 'drove itself' from the parking spot and into her car. I looked in the car and the parking brake was totally disengaged. Anyone else have this same problem, or heard of this problem? Luckily the gas station caught the whole thing on camera. No one was in the car to disengage it, and you can see on the video where it was sitting in the parking spot and suddenly starts rolling with some speed. I am trying to get Mazda to cover the repairs on both cars, but they are seeing 'nothing wrong' with the car. Any help would be appreciated!

I have a 2006 MX5 that had this happen.  Everyone thinks I didn't put the brake on hard enough.  My insurance says I'm to blame.  I'm not sure if I should fight it or not.
