How does one replace the cables with out wasting money on the whole harness? need to replace battery terminals but cant because the cables are too short. anyone have any ideas that might be of some use? replaced the battery a week ago and the terminals are coroded all to hell. harness from dealer is $151.00. can it be done for cheaper? im not a mechanic so if replying, please make the answer for dummies>:)

the harness is the safest and best route.   if you get the part number you should be able to get something at either an suto parts store or ebay cheaper.  also try www.partstrain.com they may have one on there reasonable.
